The old lady's solictor is a partner of the suspect's solictor. The suspect's house has a fire set by the only straight member of the family. Brownlow and Burnside argue over clear-up figures. Burnside thinks Stafford Row have fiddled with their figures. Melvin brings in a man who claims to have lost his memory so he plays him some Roy Orbison tapes to help him regain his memory.
